This a question frequently asked by my family and friends. In order to answer them I would always go back 7 years to 2008 when my journey started. It was the year I was given the opportunity to attend the 18th National Lasallian Leaders' Convention. My  first convention was where I learned about Lasalle; his values, the Lasallian Spirituality (Faith, Service, Community) made the biggest iompact on me. In a few words, this convention opened my eyes to the bigger world that I live in.

When I was selected to co-chair the 25th NLLC with Patricia, I felt pressured and stressed out. Having once been a delegate myself I know the magnitude of the responsilbity handed to me, especially because of the impact this convention makes on its participants. I hope that the delegates would be able to see and experience what I had gone through as it was a memorable experience for me. Many things were running in my mind at that time. I had to make sure everything ran smoothly and met the high standards that were set, moreover this was the 25th anniversary of the NLLC.

I have to admit it was not an easy journey as there were many ups and downs, dealing with everyone's differences, thoughts and characters. However, that made this experience a more enriching and memorable one. I believe I have pushed myself further as I no longer act as an observer. I would like to express my gratitude to Isaac, Bro.Matthew, Coreen, my co-chair Patricia and the organising team for coming together and making this convention a success.

Lastly, I hope that the 25th NLLC has made a positive impact  on the delegates, as how the 18th NLLC did for me. It would mean that all the hard work and that little sleep each day of every OT during the convention has been worth it.

I am thankful for this opportunity  to co-chair the 25th NLLC. It truly is a milestone in my journey as a Lasallian and one that will never be forgotten
